I graduated from gymnasium, and currently, I am a student at the Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences, where I am a Psychology undergrad. I have been dedicated to babysitting for a long period. I have six nephews and nieces of all ages (6 mo, 6y, 6y, 7y, 11y, and 13y, so I have experience with all age groups- infants, kindergartners, schoolchildren, and teenagers. Around eight years old I started helping elders with childcare because my sisters are quite older than me and they started having children and included me in helping. I started independently babysitting in high school for immediate and extended family members. My favorite activity to do with children is to play board games and games that help develop didactic skills, memory, and creativity (e.g. puzzles, water coloring/tempering, memory, Black Peter, UNO, wooden or leggo puzzles). Apart from that, we enjoy going for walks and playing at the park. With older children, I am happy to help with homework and even offer English instructions if needed. In general, I find that a lot of my college classes such as developmental psychology, childhood psychology, and adolescent psychology greatly help with a better approach and understanding of children. I am patient, open, communicative, and full of understanding when handling kids because I truly enjoy spending time with them.
