I have been living in Split for over 8 years and have a 7-year old son, as well as many years of experience in babysitting. My first babysitting job was back in Kenya. While I was still studying, for years I worked part-time as a nanny for the son of the head chef of Hilton Nairobi Hotel. I took care of him in intervals ranging from a few hours to an entire day and night; I took care of his hygiene, diet, schedule and bedtime. We often played together in his home, but also used to go out for various activities together. Besides that, I occasionally took care of his sister, who at that time was a 1-year old baby.
In Croatia I started babysitting in 2022 and since then I have worked with several expat families, for whom I have taken care of children ranging from babies to 7-year-olds for varied periods of time. Even though my work with these families comes and goes, we created lasting relationships and these children will forever be a part of my life :)
