About me

From a very young age, I have been passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets—dogs, cats, and even birds, which I would often rescue, nurse back to health, and release back into the wild. My love for animals has only grown over the years, and though I consider myself more of a dog person, I’ve had extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats.

While living in the Netherlands, I rescued a cat named Maci, who became my companion during my travels and eventually settled with my daughter in a village near Đakovo. I’ve often helped friends and family care for their pets, including my sister’s two cats, and have spent a lot of time looking after dogs as well. Though I wouldn’t call myself a professional, I am adaptable and always respect the routines and training methods owners have established for their pets.

Whether it’s feeding, walking, or offering affection, I approach caring for animals with the same attention and dedication that I give to raising my daughter. The skills I’ve developed as a parent—responsibility, patience, and care—translate well into ensuring the well-being of pets under my care. I take pride in doing my best to make animals feel safe, happy, and loved, just as I would with my own.

- How often should they be walked
- Do they have specific exercise routines or favorite activities?
- Are there any physical limitations or conditions to be mindful of?

3. Training and Behavior:
- What commands do they respond to?
- Are there specific rules or behaviors the owner is working on (e.g., house training, leash etiquette)?
- How do they usually react to strangers, other pets, or new environments?

4. Health and Medical Care:
- Are there any medications, supplements, or treatments that need to be administered?
- Do they have any known medical conditions?
- Who is their veterinarian in case of emergencies?

5. Daily Routine:
- What is their typical daily routine (eating, sleeping, bathroom breaks, etc.)?
- How much time do they usually spend indoors vs. outdoors (especially for cats)?

6. Comfort and Affection:
- Do they have favorite toys, blankets, or spots in the house?
- Are they more independent, or do they require a lot of attention

7. Emergency Contacts:
- Who should I contact in case of an emergency?
- Are there nearby pet care centers or trusted neighbors who can help in urgent situations?
