As a child and in my youth, we always had a family dog, which was mostly taken care of by my younger brother. We also had cats, and today he also has an adult cat in Sinj, which he also takes care of her kitten. I am a member of the Noah's Ark association in Zagreb. I have volunteered in Dumovec several times, and I have also looked after a dog from a friend of my neighbors in my apartment. The dog was housetrained and well socialized, so I had no problems. I asked my neighbor, who had a dog, for all her advice. If I were to keep a dog in my apartment, I would walk it around my building, and to the surrounding meadows that I know well because I often went for walks with my neighbor and her dog in them.
