I graduated from high school for nurses in Vrapče, and last year enrolled in nursing studies at the University of Health in Zagreb. I am currently working at KBC Sisters of Mercy in the operating room. My working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and I would be available after work to help and care for an elderly person. Through my professional practice in high school, I gained a lot of knowledge and skills about caring for the elderly. In addition, before working in the operating room, I worked in the intensive care unit at the Neurology Clinic, also at the KBC of the Sisters of Mercy. Such work experience additionally contributed to my experience of caring for the elderly, which includes the application of therapy, bathing and care of the elderly, changing urinary bags, taking care of immobile patients during treatment, and the like.
